A springtime treat for 2023, this Kaweco COLLECTION pen is named after the Toyama district in Japan because of a mysterious occurrence that happens there.

Every spring the water of Toyama Bay is illuminated by a dazzling blue sheen. This rare and spectacular phenomenon is called bioluminescence and is caused by the gathering of the firefly squid that create a captivating water spectacle, the colours of which have inspired this new Kaweco pen.

The high-quality plastic material of the pen is a rich teal colour filled with pearly pigments that glisten when they catch and it is complemented by silver finishes.

The pen presentation box also has a shimmering wave design to complete the inspired look.
