The fine herringbone pattern, evocative of the Conklin trademark crescent, is accomplished by very using a very precise engraving machine to cut into the solid, metal barrel. This is then coated in gun metal grey resin and epoxy for protection and everlasting brightness. The bright chrome trim pocket clip features the Conklin trademark name and the centre ring features the Conklin C and the Conklin crescent shapes.
