Montegrappa Duchess of York - Ocean Fountain Pen Limited Edition

February 2020 introduces The Duchess of York Limited Edition collaboration with Montegrappa.

The range is undoubtly attractive and oozes elegance and royalty with only a limited 100 pieces in each colour way.

Owner and Creative Director of Montegrappa explained "Our collaboration came about after a chance introduction through a mutual friend... She came to visit us in Bassano Del Grappa, and it was in our gardens that the idea began to germinate".

The new Hallmark of this fountain pen range is slender lines, rich colours and smooth writing. Combining 0.925 Sterling Silver and an 18k Gold Nib which features the personal monogram of Sarah, Duchess of York. With glistening bright colours that sparkle when the light hits them which comes from the choice to use celluloid -supple, organically textured material-.

It comes in a choice of three colours, each inspired by a different natural kingdom; Yellow for Garden to represent summer with chrysanthemum motifs adorned onto the pen. Orange for Forest with leaves embossed and etched into the cap and finally Blue for Ocean inspired by the Mediterranean Sea which has shells along the cap.

To match this sublime pen range, the packaging features a portfolio style box which contains a series of postcards photographed by The Duchess herself from her travels, each comes with a personal favourite quote of Sarah's.
